5 Tips to Optimize & Speed Up Safari 5

I have recently noticed a slowing factor when it comes to using Safari 5. I decided to look for some hack solutions to see if I could improve the usability of Safari from the point of view, page load speed. After searching the web,  I have found an article from sayzlim.net.  Hopefully it will help you as much as it has helped me. Let begin… Read more »

On the Prowl at Geekend

Want to make friends at Geekend? This is one way of doing it. Here is my best version of the play-by-play of an interesting evening with fellow geeks in the wings. Please note: I am not a writer or even a storyteller.

Geekend Day 2:  It started off with me unfortunately missing every single daytime session. I was desperately trying to close up my Friday work day so I could enjoy the evening. If I wanted to find advice or help on the web about my truck, I would look in a Ford truck forum group. It would just be silly for me to post my problems in a GM truck forum. So with this mind-set I have adapted the Fight Club Rules to fit my personal pet peeve. Read more »

Adult Proof Packaging

There is not one person I know who hates opening consumer packaging more than my fiancée – and I hear about it. “What the F! Why won’t this thing…? Seriously, who designed this? AHHH! Can you open this for me?”  Then I get the look, like I am the one who made it that hard to open. I always say that it wasn’t me who designed it. I wouldn’t have made it that difficult to open.

But, the truth is, I would – and I have.
