Liquidmetal iPhone 5 Concept

With the WWDC just around the corner, the rumor mill is starting its frenzy of wild guesses on what the iPhone 5 might have in store for us. One such rumor suggests that Apple will use Liquidmetal alloys in the upcoming iPhone, making it thinner, lighter and more resistant to impact damage.

Pinstagram combines Instagram & Pinterest

What would happen if two of the digital world’s hottest startups, Pinterest and Instagram, were mashed into one?

Pek Pongpaet and Brandon Leonardo, decided to combine two of the web’s hottest properties as a joke one weekend.

The duo realized a “Pinterest for Instagram” would be the most extreme example, and thus Pinstagram was born.

Rebuilding Spotlight’s Index on OS X

After using the Alfred App for sometime I found it not indexing and searching properly. Alfred is a productivity application for Mac OS X, which aims to save you time in searching your local computer and the web.

Solution: rebuild the spotlight index. Downside: I turned it off. What’s going on behind the scenes is actually fairly trivial, and it’s possible to simply do everything via the command line in terminal. Read more »
